Paul Lippe of Legal OnRamp has posted a helpful article on the ABA website to help lawyers think through some of the key issues that define legal change.
Paul uses the terms of Old Normal and New Normal to organize a comprehensive chart to run through how things were in 25 categories and how they will be. While I shot a year-end spitball at the latter term, I am coming around to thinking that New Normal is as good as any to remind lawyers that change is here to stay.
Or something like that.
I would just put the emphasis on the “New” in “New Normal,” since next year’s N Squared may not be the same as this year’s. In fact, it almost certainly will not be.
Take a close look at Paul’s effort at charting change. There is a lot of thought behind something that looks rather simple.
