Troutman Sanders starts 2011 with a new managing partner, Stephen Lewis.
The press release announcing this appointment quotes Mr. Lewis:
At Troutman Sanders our clients always come first, which means we must continue to deliver excellent client service, outstanding legal work and great value to our clients.â€
I agree with judge No. 3, not easy to complete a readable sentence with the word “clients” three times and “value” thrown in somewhere, anywhere before the end. Judge No. 2 must be from another large firm in Atlanta. Reaching the communist block level of judge No. 1 might require something like: “Clients. Troutman Sanders. In that order.”
Congratulations to Mr. Lewis. Managing lawyers is not easy; being a managing partner harder still. It might be useful to dust off this press release around the time of partner allocations.
